This site is intended to be a central point for information regarding ANSI terminal emulation as used by BBS systems. The goal is to provide a standard base set of ANSI sequences, a registry for extensions, and a standard method of detecting them.

Where possible, this will merely describe existing implementations commonly used for accessing BBS systems. Where there are conflicts between implementations, we will choose one as the "official" implementation.

The spec will be divided into a core "required" document and multiple extension documents.

Also, we will have a set of links to ANSI-BBS terminal programs, drawing programs, and BBS software which explicitly supports this standard
